Spatial Towns offers a detailed collection of environmental recordings from towns, streets, and residential zones. These soundscapes reflect human activity, traffic, nature, and urban life with clear horizontal spatial perspective.
Recorded with a Zoom H2n in proprietary Spatial Audio mode using a horizontal ambisonic-style mic array stored in AmbiX format. W, X, Y channels deliver spatial sound on the horizontal plane, compatible with decoding to Mono, Stereo, Binaural, Quad, 5.0, 5.1, 7.1, and more with ambisonic decoders. The Z channel is empty.
Includes original AmbiX files plus 5.0 and Stereo mixes for versatile use.
