Spatial Crowd is a detailed and versatile collection of crowd ambiences recorded in various urban, market, public, and event settings. Ideal for adding natural, spatialized human presence in cinema, VR, and interactive media.
Recordings were captured with a Zoom H2n recorder in proprietary Spatial Audio mode, using a horizontal-only ambisonic-style mic layout stored in AmbiX format. The W, X, Y channels deliver spatial audio on the horizontal plane, compatible with decoding to Mono, Stereo, Binaural, Quad, 5.0, 5.1, 7.1, and more via dedicated Ambisonic processors. The Z channel remains empty.
The library includes original AmbiX files along with 5.0 and Stereo mixes for flexible use.
